Improve Operational Range via 4G Connectivity

The DJI Cellular Dongle 2 is a next-generation communication module that adds reliable 4G network connectivity to compatible DJI equipment. In complex industrial or urban environments where traditional O4 video transmission may be obstructed, this dongle works alongside cellular networks to help maintain a stable, high-speed link, greatly reducing the risk of disconnection during critical missions.

Featuring Antenna Switch Diversity (ASDIV) for robust performance in challenging signal conditions, the dongle supports Enhanced Transmission when paired with a remote controller connected to the internet. This allows pilots to continue controlling the aircraft over 4G if the primary radio signal is compromised, making it a powerful tool for long-range surveying, automated dock operations, and missions that demand maximum reliability and operational safety.

Professional connectivity & safety

  • Enhanced Transmission: Works in parallel with the original video transmission system to help overcome physical obstructions or radio interference using 4G connectivity.

  • Antenna Switch Diversity (ASDIV): Automatically switches between antennas to maintain the best available 4G signal in changing environments.

  • Extended operational reach: Supports control beyond visual line-of-sight within areas that have sufficient 4G coverage and in accordance with local regulations.

  • Integrated installation: For compatible aircraft such as Matrice 4T and Matrice 4E, the dongle inserts directly into the aircraft body for a clean, integrated install, while certain other models (for example DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise) require an additional installation kit.
